Offer DescriptionThe CMT WULS announces a competition for the position of professor in a group of research and
teaching staff in the discipline of veterinary, biological and medical sciences. The person
employed at this position will be entrusted with scientific, didactic and organizational work for
the benefit of the Center and the University.
The Candidate who applies for the above position must realize the requirements specified in ar.113
of the Act of 20.07.2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668),
in the University’s Statute – Annex to Resolution No. 84-2018/2019 of the Senate of the Warsaw
University of Life Sciences – SGGW.
Expectations from Candidates:
- habilitated doctor in the discipline: veterinary science, biological sciences, medical sciences etc..
- outstanding scientific achievements in the international environment in the represented specialty,
- publication of at least 10 scientific monographs or papers, including at least twelve in scientific journals published in the list referred to in § 87 para. 1 point 1, or in part A or C of the list referred to in § 87 para.
- holding at least three months’ scientific internship in scientific centers (optional) • managing a research project or submitting a research project in a competition to research funding
institutions;
- experience in managing a research project obtained as part of a competition for research funding
institutions, or in managing a research task obtained in a partnership project as part of a
competition for research funding institutions;
- demonstrate achievements in the field of educating scientific staff and being a promoter or ancillary promoter in at least one doctoral dissertation or proceedings regarding the award of a doctoral degree;

- holding at least three months’ scientific internship in scientific centers;
- managing a research project or submitting a research project in a competition to research funding institutions;
- experience in managing a research project obtained as part of a competition for research funding institutions, or in managing a research task obtained in a partnership project as part of a competition for research funding institutions;
- possessing documented didactic achievements, in particular, confirmed high quality of didactic classes or authorship of textbooks for students;
- demonstrate achievements in the field of educating scientific staff and being a promoter or ancillary promoter in at least one doctoral dissertation or proceedings regarding the award of a doctoral degree;
- having at least a good level of English (documented), i.e. to the extent that allows independent writing of scientific publications in this language and making reports at scientific conferences,
- fluent knowledge of Polish (the language of instruction at most classes is Polish);
