The information below provides more detail about the role and you may also wish to learn a little more about working for South Hampshire College Group by viewing the below video.Benefits to Support Work Life Balance:Regular training and development.Pathways to teaching qualifications.35 days leave per year plus bank holidays.Salary level on appointment will be dependant on skills and experience.Duties:Support in giving initial advice and guidance prior to enrolment regarding your specialist sectorSupport in the design of new and existing programmesDeliver theory and practical training to learners at our college sites or via blended modesCarry out learner workplace visits to conduct observations, assessments and progress reviewsCoach, advise and guide learners so that they develop the mindset qualities, will power, and positive habits and recognise the important of practice to succeed in the world of work.Challenge and push learners so that they `go above and beyond’ their learning and training and become ambitious to succeed in their careers.Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with employers and other organisationsSkills/Experience:Highly motivated professional with a range of industry experience and knowledgePrevious delivery practice experience or has supported apprentices in the workplace
Excellent knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development & designDesirable Qualifications:Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent.Level 3 qualification in relevant area of expertise.Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent) is desirableAssessor and Moderator/IV Award is desirable.Ideal Attributes:Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levelsAbility to prioritise and meet deadlines within a busy environmentGood working knowledge of IT tools (ECDL or equivalent level)Innovative and creative approach to workCommitment to ongoing learning and professional developmentWe reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
