Within the Italian organisation, we have an exciting opportunity to offer.Come and join Eppendorf Italy as a Professional Accountant!Your challengesThis role is part of the local Italian Administrative team of Eppendorf Italy, and reports to the Managing Director of Eppendorf Italy.The Professional Accountant executes the local administrative tasks and works in close coordination with the Shared Service center ( SSC) in Germany.The Professional Accountant has the following main responsibilities:1. Coordinate with the SSC to fulfill local financial and administrative requirements2. Work in cooperation with the local Stakeholders and departments, to ensure the completion of accounting and fiscal duties of the Italian Affiliate3. Ensure the execution of the below-listed local operative detailed tasks:Check the AMM and the PEC inbox: both inbox receive administrative authorities communication with specific financial and fiscal duties and deadlines (on daily basis)Invoice ManagementManagement of the WHT (Withholding Taxes)Agents’ Administrative Management (monthly)Travel Expenses (TE) managementManage the VAT Register (on a monthly basis)Provide F24 forms to SSC, VAT, CIT, Prepayments, WHT Salaries, F24 payments including credit via websiteProvide posting for salaries to SSCManage monthly accruals to be allocated and registered (example: the annual bonus for the Agents, missing invoices, prepaid expenses)Support monthly closing, reporting and budgetMaintaining follow-up on payback by regions, related VAT and utilization of accrualsTasks to be rolled-out once a year:Print the Posting JournalCalculation of re-invoicing building costsPrepare the Cars+Liabilities Reporting IFRS (HQ)Collaborate with EY and SSC Europe for reporting: follow-up on any request for documents and reportsCollaborate with PWC and SSC Europe for taxesCommunication on local Regulations & Requirements (Payback, special depreciation, …)
Preparation of recurring entries by the beginning of the yearSupport with CIT + VAT declaration (documents, request, signature, ..)Audit support for local audit as well as IFRS audit in GermanySindacoYour profile:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar positionProficient in MS excel and wordWorking experience with SAP; ability to work with Power BI is a plusStrong understanding of Italian tax regulationsExceptional organizational and time management skillsProactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solvingAbility to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracyStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across departmentsFluent in Italian and working proficiency in EnglishYour benefits at Eppendorf: Milano
