The Position

As a Production Support Manager in our Technical Operations Support department in Hillerød, Denmark, you will be responsible for leading a team of 23 highly skilled employees. Your team, consisting of engineers, specialized technicians, and apprentices, will work on the day shift to provide fast, efficient, and high-quality production support. This support is crucial for keeping our production of plastic components running smoothly 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and inspire your team to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and quality in production support.
-Set clear direction and ensure timely deliveries, robust processes, and compliance with manufacturing procedures.
-Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean methodologies and promoting systematic problem-solving.
-Collaborate with the Device Component Production department’s management team to shape the strategic direction of the department.
-Develop your leadership competencies and increase your business insight through personal and professional growth opportunities.
The area of technical responsibility covers our Injection Moulding Machines, Advanced robots, laser decoration equipment, vision systems, raw material plant and other production utility equipment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you:

-Have at least 2 years of management experience, preferably within advanced production in a controlled environment (e.g., Pharma, Automotive).
-Hold a degree within Engineering, Science, or other relevant fields.
-Are fluent in Danish and English.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP and production knowledge, is a plus.

As a person, you are quality-minded and have a well-developed business sense. You have a systematic approach to problems, you are a team player, and you possess strong stakeholder management skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and in an uncomplicated manner at all levels in the organization. You know how to listen, show respect, and evaluate problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with bold targets, a high work pace, and many daily decisions. You can handle multiple activities simultaneously.

About the Department

You will join Device Component Production in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 350 colleagues, organized into two production departments: Moulding Production and Pre Assembly. Here, we produce and assemble plastic components used for manufacturing our medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in Aseptic Manufacturing, and we do that in close collaboration with the other departments in the factory.
