About the department
Production Support is a multifunctional department that ensures the site operates safely, reliably, and in line with strategic priorities.
With a total headcount of 120+ people, it brings together Facilities, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), Project Management Office (PMO), Asset Management, Maintenance Execution, as well as Utilities Engineering and Validation.
Together, the team integrates building and equipment maintenance to preserve functionality, drives prevention activities to protect people and the site, and steers environmental initiatives under Circular for Zero.
It also provides strong project governance to support delivery excellence and compliance across the site.
As Production Support Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and operations of the Production Support department, ensuring compliance, innovation, and excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include :
-Lead and develop leaders across the production support function, motivation, operational excellence through strong people management, lean leadership and alignment with Novo Nordisk value
-Defining and deploying the site strategy in alignment with Novo Nordisk Quality Systems, HSE standards, and applicable regulations.
-Driving organisational development, mentoring leaders, and fostering employee engagement to meet future needs.
-Acting as owner and sponsor for site portfolio projects, chairing Steering Groups, and ensuring alignment with the Site Master Plan for investments.
-Leading the Health and Safety strategy for the site and overseeing maintenance planning and execution.
-Managing service contracts, facilities, and utilities while driving improvements in energy and water consumption.
-Representing Novo Nordisk at external events and fostering collaboration across functional networks.
-Performing LEAN leadership with shop floor presence.
-Encouraging innovation and driving continuous improvement through benchmarking and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications
-BAC+5 in Engineering or Polytechnique
-10+ years of leadership experience in an industrial environment
-Strong knowledge of LEAN tools & methodologies
-Proven experience in utilities management and energy & water consumption optimisation
-A strategic mindset with a creative approach to drive innovation and organisational excellence
-Strong stakeholder management and PMO skills, with a global standardization and network mindset
-Fluency in both French and English is mandatory

Salary : For this role, the annual base salary range runs from 88 590 to 141,730 EUR corresponding to the level of position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits : The salary package may include short-term and/or long term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
