An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Datamars Denmark who are seeking to recruit a Production Supervisor based at our site in Søholt, Maribo. The role is full-time Monday – Friday working a permanent day shift pattern.The successful candidate will report directly to the European Operations Manager with support from our local teams within Denmark and will be responsible for:

• Recording and checking of receipts of deliveries against Purchase Orders for accuracy and or damage
• Notify Purchasing / Planning of any short deliveries and a pro-active approach to any potential production issues
• Maintain our on-site laser marking machines (training provided)
• Be part of and manage our small team of operators, this will include a daily need to operate one or more of the laser marking machines
• To monitor the accuracy of the Team’s daily work schedule
• Organise the daily work-load to ensure we meet our delivery service levels
• Ensure H&S procedures are adhered to and when required implement any change in procedure
• To contribute to continuous improvements
• Be part of small project teams when required and support our global IT team with implementation of new systems or processes
• Taking calls from both internal and external colleagues and customers
• Any other duties that could reasonably be expected as being within the remit of the post.

The ideal candidate will have good IT skills (Microsoft and Excel), the ability to work to deadlines with good communication, sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise workloads. Applicants will also possess a good command of English in both spoken and written forms.Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
