Production Scheduling Analyst

British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Analyst in Trieste.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning of raw material, packaging material and product inventory according to the current stock holding policies – short term and long term.
• Reviewing and updating stock holding policies and stock projections in collaboration with Scheduling Manager, Supply Chain Manager and Finance.
• Generating and following up on purchase orders and organizing and following up on deliveries with Logistics
• Third party (customers, suppliers, distributors) and internal liaising. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Tracking, escalating and following up on WOFFs (Write-Off), blocked and slow-moving stock.
• Develop daily and weekly production schedules to ensure goods availability. Ensuring continuity of production by effective scheduling of production orders, considering material and semi-finished goods (filters, cut rags, blends) availability and all other constraints that might impact the stability of work in Production Department.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/Process/Chemical Engineering or Business Administration
• Preferably 2-3 years supply chain experience preferably in a planning role (purchasing, production planning, MRP)
• Proficiency in using ERP systems SAP and APO knowledge, Kinaxis Rapid Response knowledge.
• Advanced level of Italian and English languages
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent analytical and planning skills, attention to detail, result oriented, good customer engagement skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, autonomy, self-learning skills, proactiveness
