Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Production Planner to manage and optimize production schedules across our global chemical manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong planning skills, and can balance efficiency with quality and compliance.

What will you be doing?

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
• Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure availability and minimize excess stock.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and adjust schedules to align with operational constraints and business priorities.
• Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all planning activities adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Problem Solving: Address scheduling conflicts, supply chain disruptions, and urgent customer requirements promptly and effectively.

What competencies will you need?

• Technical Knowledge: Experience in production planning within chemical or manufacturing industries; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize schedules.
• Supply Chain Understanding: Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled at resolving scheduling conflicts and operational challenges.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in planning and reporting.
• Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using planning tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
