The Production Scheduling and Procurement Manager is responsible for the development of production schedule that considers both short-term (3 Month daily schedule) and the long-term S&OP Demands of the business whilst taking into consideration internal and external capacity constraints. In achieving this balance, the individual will be expected to provide leadership to the procurement and planning team ensuring risks are rapidly mitigated and the organisation customer commitments are maintained in terms of delivery dates and communication.
The individual will work closely with the MI Global Demand Team supporting ongoing process development and execution of the DDP planning and procurement team.
What you will do:
-Produce and maintain a production schedule which controls the pace of internal production, whilst facilitating the continual monitoring of overall supply chain capacity
-Assess Risks and Opportunities related to the agreed monthly financial plan as a monthly cadence
-Provide ongoing analysis of customer confirmation dates versus actual ship dates on all customer orders
-Lead Operations and Procurement related to supplier or operational recovery plans as necessary
-Efficiently balancing customer demand, capacity and inventory through the optimization and deployment of a balanced master production schedule
-Act as local champion for ongoing planning and procurement development ensuring alignment procedural expectations
-Review the relevant customer commitments and performance metrics
-Ensuring alignment between MPS and sales order/contract requirements
-Monitor Schedule Attainment through the On Time to Build KPI
-Manage the local team of planners and buyer, ensuring appropriate individual development plans/goals are in place, supporting both business and individual growth
What you need to have:
-Bachelors Degree from accredited institution.
-ERP Experience 5 Years
-Equivalent English B2 + (Spoken and Verbal)
-Direct Master Schedule experience in an ERP environment 3+ Years
-Demonstrable Management Experience 3-5+ Years
