Production Planner – Fanatics Collectibles

Topps International/Fanatics Collectibles, within the Production department based in Assago (MI), is looking for a Production Planner. The candidate will work alongside with the suppliers, pre-production, logistic and project management teams. The Production Planner will organise production workflow, finding efficient solutions to daily challenges, and demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail and sense of priority.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for all projects, coordinating the workflow among all external manufacturers (national and international).
• Collaborate with production coordinators, checking adherence to scheduled timelines. 
• Act to prevent, absorb and mitigate delays by promptly addressing issues. 
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistic team to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Share the relevant documentation with the suppliers and be available for any vendor’s request for clarification.
• Collaborate with the project management team to organise project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activities and update management on projects’ status.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes and workflows.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies 

• Proven experience in production planning within the editorial or publishing industry. Minimum 5-7 years.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and oral Italian and English are mandatory.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of printing and production processes is a plus.
