Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about Planning in the world leading industrial coating resins company? allnex is looking for a motivated and self-organized specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for the full planning process, including production scheduling and raw material purchasing, while monitoring inventory levels and optimizing service levels. If you have experience in supply chain management coupled with a customer-centric approach then we eagerly anticipate receiving your application!

Responsibilities
-Production scheduling : work together with the site production team and business to generate and maintain a detailed production schedule that aligns with material availability and manufacturing capacity;
-Supplier coordination : be the first point of contact for suppliers; collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials;
-Utilization of the SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) system to document any discrepancy from agreed delivery terms;
-Cross functional collaboration : work closely with the manufacturing, business, procurement & logistics team to align production plans with business objectives;
-Forecasting : team up with procurement to develop accurate raw material forecasts based on production schedules, historical consumption patterns, and sales projections;
-Inventory management : maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production while minimizing carrying costs and avoiding excess stock;
-Identify and review regional inventory optimization opportunities and slow moving inventory;
-Follow regional stocking policies, ensuring alignment with current business rules and working with business and Planning lead to insure alignment with overall business targets.

Required skills and experience
-Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred;
-Relevant work experience in a Planning role, inventory control, or a related operational role in a manufacturing environment;
-Good understanding of MRP and order management processes;
-Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools;
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners ;
-Multi-language (Dutch/English required + French extra asset);
-Flexible, adjust readily to new situations while effectively dealing with ambiguity, stress and uncertainty;
-Demonstrates a learning approach towards continuous improvement.
