Circa A£70,000 (Flexible DOE) + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Benefits Package + Onsite Parking

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00, Friday 07:00 to 15:00

Production Manager required for a leading manufacturer who provide pipework for major projects in commercial, industrial and energy sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding business within an integral role at an exciting time of growth as they prepare to open a new facility.

The successful candidate will need experience working within the pipework or a similar industry in a production management, production planning or similar position. You will need an understanding of fabrication workflows and be able to read technical drawings.

The successful Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations on site. This will involve scheduling production in line with project requirements, overseeing a team of fabricators and welders, working with QA inspectors and general oversight of activities.

The Production Manager Role:

A· Planning and scheduling production activities, ensuring each job has a clear start date and completion target
A· Overseeing fabricators and welders
A· Ensure all technical drawings are correct
A· Identify training requirements
A· Work with QA Inspector to ensure inspections are completed correctly
A· Housekeeping audits and workshop checks

The Production Manager Candidate:

A· Experience in a production manager / scheduler role
A· Experience in piping industry (or similar)
A· Experience working with fabrication workflows
