The position 
We are on the lookout for a maternity cover for our Production Engineer position with a strong understanding of quality and facility management and an understanding of “the power of teamwork”. 
 

A Production Engineer is a role of vital importance in our highly regulated industry, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the team can maintain and drive facility projects without disrupting regulated and validated production areas. 
 

Your main accountabilities will be:

-Ensuring compliance with GxP while maintaining or rebuilding areas that are GxP regulated. 
-Setting the direction to ensure a scientific and risk-based approach to facility  maintenance in GxP-regulated areas.
-Driving improvement processes in the team and its areas of responsibility.
 

You will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled stakeholders such as operators, specialists, supporters, technicians and managers  – across the organisation and on multiple management levels. 
 

Qualifications 
Your experiences include:

-An academic degree as an engineer, pharmacist or another technical/nature scientific background. 
-2+ years of experience from a GMP related regulated environment, preferably within pharmaceutical production.
-A strong quality mindset and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving within quality framework. 
-A flair for IT and data analysis.
-Experience from Project management/coordination and risk management/ Physical security measures is highly advantageous.
-Full proficiency in spoken and written English.

On a personal level you have the capacity to create changes, set direction and independently drive cross-functional work. You see yourself as being proactive, have a structured approach to problem-solving and thrive in a production environment driven by quality, many deadlines and shifting priorities. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills, enjoy sparring with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to communicate complex matters with simplicity and a constructive way. 

About the department
You will be part of the QC, Training & Facility Management department, specifically in our Facility & EHS team where you will have nine close colleagues. We are responsible for all facility services and maintenance of buildings, environmental improvements as well as health and safety across the site. 

We are part of Needle Manufacturing in Hjørring which is responsible for the internal production of pen needles as well as quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk pen needles produced both internal and external. We are organised into seven departments with more than 400 employees dedicated to ensuring the supply of pen needles to Novo Nordisk.
