Position overview

As the Product Safety Specialist, you will provide technical expertise to allnex personnel in the areas of worldwide hazard communication, regulatory compliance and transportation for raw materials. When you are in this role, you are responsible for the hazard and regulatory assessment and approval of purchased raw materials used in the manufacture of allnex products.
 

Responsibilities
-Responsible for reviewing imported purchased raw materials safety data sheets (SDS).
-Contact suppliers as needed for additional data.
-Create allnex SDS for these raw materials.
-Identify raw materials for relabeling.
-Test new process for relabeling imported raw materials.
 

Required skills and experience
-Chemical or related industry experience in hazard assessment and product regulatory compliance will be considered as an advantage.
-Proficiency in English.
-Good problem solving skills.
-Drive and initiative to keep learning and improving.
-University degree in Chemistry.
