Product Quality & Reliability Engineer III in Alzenau, Germany

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and support Applied Materials Yield Technology Group (YTG) business group on corporate quality management system structure implementation and adaption.

  • Manage Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance to requirements through internal audits and external certification ISO standards.

  • Perform quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.

  • Work with local and overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders on supplier, manufacturing and field non-conformance.

  • Collect, analyze and share quality performance data with internal stakeholder. Develop and implement strategies for quality improvement.

  • Co-work with supplier engineering to perform supplier technical audits and source inspections and evaluate supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.

  • Coordinate issue resolution using quality tools (8D and statistical analysis tools)

  • Drive quality and reliability tasks within the product development process (e. g. FMECA facilitation)

Education & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering or similar technical qualification

  • 4+ years’ work experience in a similar position

  • Very good knowledge on quality management systems and tools

  • Advanced problem solving skills

  • Knowledge about AMAT quality tools (FAI, SPS, SNF, SAP QN) advantageous

  • Software skills

  • Good English Skills and Fluent in German

  • Skills in Microsoft Office and SAP

  • Flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with internal and external partners

  • Flexibility to travel (at least 30% ) to our partner location in Feldkirchen, near Munich
