Syensqo has decided to create a startup team, Syensqo.ai, dedicated to the AI and Generative AI domain. By taking this role, the Product Owner will join this team right at its inception. Its mantra is simple: deliver value in a fast fashion, with speed, and agility while taking no compromise on compliance, ethics, guardrails, or regulations.

The Product Owner will contribute to the growth and development of this startup while keeping a very sharp focus on the delivery of prioritized items. In the current business, macroeconomic, and climate crisis context, time of execution will be of the essence.

Key responsibilities:

Product Leadership : serve as the Product Owner for the Sales & Marketing AI products within a SCRUM team, ensuring that all development activities align with corporate business & IT strategies and deliver high business value.

Backlog Management : define the product backlog, prioritizing for clarity, relevance, and readiness for development. Lead all phases to ensure efficient delivery & sustainability of new features.

Vision & Strategy: define and communicate the AI vision and strategic objectives for the Sales & Marketing AI products (data, back end, front end, adoption, …) in line with Syensqo.AI global strategy. Continuously update the roadmap to integrate new features and scale across the company BUs.

Stakeholder Engagement: act as the main contact between technical teams and business units. Regularly interact with stakeholders to collect requirements, challenge needs, provide updates, and incorporate feedback to refine the product.

Performance Monitoring: use key metrics to assess the effectiveness of the AI product (data, back end, front end, adoption) and inform decisions on enhancements or future developments.

Market Insight: keep abreast of trends in AI technologies, ensuring the product remains innovative and effectively supports business processes.

Governance & Prioritization: oversee governance processes within the Agile framework, ensuring decisions support immediate and long-term objectives.

User Adoption & Feedback: monitor adoption and satisfaction levels among users, adapting the product strategy based on direct feedback and usage data. Collaborate with change managers to optimize user experience and engagement.

Product Tech Architecture: design product architecture with AI architects & Tech leads and take care of the product technical sustainability and scalability. Define Cybersecurity and Responsible AI requirements, address any compliance requirements.

Data Management: Define any data governance process required for new features, address data quality improvements and compliance. Work in collaboration with IT to identify new data needs and integration design.

Stakeholder Interactions:

User Engagement: establish robust relationships with internal users to deeply understand their needs and gather ongoing feedback, ensuring the Copilot platform continuously aligns with user demands and strategic business goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: ensure strategic alignment and integration across different product teams, business stakeholders, and IT functions to enhance the products’ utility and business impact.

Product Solution Design: lead the product design in close collaboration with Technical teams for sustainable and flexible Tech solution.

IT & Leadership Alignment: maintain proactive communication with IT and executive leadership to align the platform’s development with broader technology strategies and company initiatives.

You will bring:

At least 5 years of experience working with Sales & Marketing digital domain.
-
Proven experience in product ownership, ideally with a focus on AI or technology/data products.
-
Proven track record of managing end-to-end lifecycle of complex software products.
-
Experience in Agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
-
Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in business processes is highly desirable. Ideally experience in AI product development in the Sales & Marketing domain.

Experience in Data platform & architecture management.
-
Prior experience in stakeholder management, including gathering and prioritizing product requirements and developing product roadmaps.

Experience in monitoring product performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
-
Strong organizational & time management skills, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset.
-
Team player and leader capable of bringing people together toward a common goal.
-
Proven ability to translate non-technical information into a technical level of detail that developers can work with.
-
Being data-driven (OKRs and KPIs) to validate the roadmap to management.
-
CSPO or PSPO I certification.
-
Fluent in English (proficient in French would be an asset).
-
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
