The company serves various markets like legal, risk, compliance, accounting, finance, etc.The Role:

• We are looking for a product owner for our client based in Hasselt on a hybrid basis (2 days a week).
• You will be working for the tax & accounting Software Business Unit which develops and sells products for tax and accounting professionals.
• Our client offers a whole range of different software solutions: ERP software; accounting, financial and tax advice and office management software.

Responsibilities:

• As a Product Owner, you will make an important contribution to the transition of our software products.
• You ensure that the product delivered by the team has optimal business value:
• You will shape the Product Backlog, in collaboration with Product Management, to ensure that the products are developed in line with the product vision and our strategic roadmap.
• Contributes to ideation, analysis and review sessions
• You ensure that the needs of the customers are paramount during product development.
• You are responsible for the daily follow-up of the transition of the product.
• You will ensure good coordination between the teams to ensure efficient deployment of new products and new features and to be able to provide customer-oriented second-line support.
• You will follow up on customer cases, coordinate detailed functional and business analyses, and provide recommendations for solutions.
• You ensure that the product strategy/vision is executed and supported by all departments of our client.
• You will provide user documentation for newly developed features and products and support the maintenance of user documentation for existing products.

Requirements:

• You have a Master’s level of thinking or you are equivalent through experience.
• You have min. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You have experience with customer-oriented software development
• You are familiar with the scrum method and with working within an Agile context.
• You have experience in a financial and/or tax environment
• Customizable
• You can use your analytical and communication skills in a problem-solving environment
• You have strong organizational skills and you are able to set priorities and translate them into a schedule
• Thanks to your leadership, you are able to optimize team results.
• You are fluent in Dutch and can also express yourself fluently in English (speaking and writing)

Expected salary

€73000 – 80000 per year
