The Creation Platform’s mission is to enable innovation to accelerate, expand business value, and increase process efficiency by sharing capabilities transversally across Amadeus business versus a purely vertical product line approach.

We are looking for a Product Manager who’s able to navigate the ecosystem, engage with multiple stakeholders, with a strong understanding of traveler centricity and platform capabilities, and committed to the Amadeus growth strategy of opening up our systems.

Main Responsibilities

The Amadeus Creation platform provides the following capabilities under the traveler capability umbrella:

  • Traveler data protection
  • Traveler 360 & intelligence
  • Traveler wallet

As the Product Manager of these capabilities, you will be in charge of:

Positioning

  • Facilitate communications with Amadeus Business lines, Engineering, Creation Platform Architects, etc. to identify requirements, opportunities, addressable business, and governance/compliance challenges.
  • Contribute to the Traveler capability strategy by aligning with other platform product managers and maximizing synergies between capabilities within and outside of the Traveler domain.
  • Communicate capabilities evolution and collect feedback from users and the Product Management community to adjust the roadmap and ensure adoption maximization.
  • Recommend strategic directions to management to ensure one-voice communication (with investment/budget proposal, prioritization of features, etc.)
  • Convey strategic direction to capability consumers and other stakeholders.

Lifecycle

  • Run your platform capabilities at various stages of maturity.
  • Manage the capability through its lifecycle, from introducing new technologies (forecast adoption, define stage gates, be able to stop an ideation) to the product end of life and decommissioning strategy (replacement, migration, communication, change management).
  • Measure success using metrics and implement adoption strategies to maximize capability consumption.
  • Define the cost model and monitor the capability unit cost evolution.

Execution

  • Keep the platform capability backlog groomed in close collaboration with relevant Epic Owners. Proactively communicate any significant changes to the backlog or roadmap to key stakeholder groups.
  • Own the long-term capability vision and roadmap. Work with Epic Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering to refine the requirements, feed the execution backlog and roadmap. You are accountable for a balanced roadmap to ensure a scalable and optimized user experience, stable and performant technology product that continually meets business needs and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
  • Coordinate and prioritize feature delivery to match with go-to-market activities as needed for new features across the organization, demonstrating a deep understanding of the problems being solved and what the market (mainly internal) needs.

About our ideal candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a product manager, ideally in B2B.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and able to adapt to an evolving and fast-paced tech-driven environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in customer centricity or customer data platform is a plus.
