Product Manager (m/f/x) – Immunology & Respiratory

(Fulltime / permanent / Location: Vienna)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our Commercial team in Vienna. This full-time, permanent position focuses on managing our immunology and respiratory brands and engaging in strategic planning. The ideal candidate will develop annual marketing plans, execute strategies, manage advertising and promotional activities, oversee budgets, and collaborate with both internal teams and external consultants.

The Role

  • Strategic Development: Develop, implement, and measure marketing plans and strategies for both existing brands and pipeline projects in Austria to meet sales and market share targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager, Sales, Medical, and Market Access teams to coordinate and present strategic and tactical marketing plans within Austria.
  • Marketing Execution: Create, manage, and execute marketing concepts, brand plans, advertising campaigns, and local congress presence, including agency authorization, briefing, and monitoring.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and evaluate external and competitive environments, including market size, development, prescribers, patients, competitors, products, prices, clinical studies, and trends, and respond accordingly.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee the annual marketing budget and provide periodic financial marketing forecasts as required.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with opinion leaders, relevant HCPs, and other customers, fostering them as brand ambassadors.
  • Compliance: Interact with Healthcare Professionals within legal frameworks, local rules, and corporate policies.
  • Training and Development: Develop, execute, and train marketing and sales materials in close collaboration with the cross-functional team.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Background: Degree in Natural Sciences and/or experience in Sales/Marketing/Product Management.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in healthcare/pharmaceuticals, with a focus on Sales & Marketing. Experience as a Sales Representative and Brand/Product Manager is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English, verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills to build effective internal and external networks.

  • Reports to: Head of Marketing Austria
