Your new role
As a Product Manager, you will drive the development and continuous improvement of a select part of the Clinical Analytics platform. You will work closely with cloud developers, subject matter experts, line-of-business managers and other teams within Clinical Analytics to deliver solutions that enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making in clinical trials.
Some of your key activities will be to:
-Translate business strategy into actionable product roadmaps and backlogs for the Clinical Analytics platform
-Prioritize and manage upcoming activities, balancing input from users, stakeholders and developers
-Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration and adoption of platform components (storage, compute)
-Drive risk and impact assessment of new requirements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
-Own and evolve the data access model for the Clinical Analytics platform, ensuring secure, scalable and user-friendly access to clinical data across the organisation
-Lead operational roll-out, support and communication to end-users
-Foster a culture of continuous product discovery and improvement
About Clinical Analytics
Our vision is to make access to data, processing of data, and analysis of data easy, efficient, and reliable for clinical trials. We are building an analytics suite with reusable components, seamless access to all data modalities, performant storage, and scalable computational environments. Among our key initiatives is a new cloud-based statistical compute engine leveraging Azure and Databricks and with full flexibility to code in SAS or R.
Your skills & qualifications
In this role, you will work across a complex stakeholder landscape and collaborate closely with teams shaping our digital and data products. We are looking for someone who combines strong product mindset with the ability to navigate technical, clinical, and architectural discussions.
To be successful in this position, you probably have:
-Master’s degree in a quantitative area, data science or an IT education
-Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Manager or similar role in digital solution development
-Strong product thinking with a passion for building scalable digital platforms, preferably with experience working with agile software development in a highly regulated industry
-Experience working with cloud-based analytics, data platforms or clinical data is an advantage, while skills in Azure and Databricks will be advantageous
-Experience designing or managing data access models or data governance frameworks is highly desirable
-Experience building and operating digital solutions with a large user base
-Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment
