The position
As Product Manager Diabetes based in Brussels, you will drive change in Diabetes by developing appropriate campaign and strategy in line with our diabetes care strategy and brand objectives. Your responsibilities will involve:
-To be a recognised ‘Brand Champion’: the expert in Clinical data, competitors, market numbers, positioning and key messages for your designated brands. You will develop the brands through campaigns, advertising, sales force training and materials, ensuring compliance with national legislation and local guidelines. You will identify regional/national business opportunities, and drive high-quality market developing activities and pioneering projects within Diabetes
-To build cross-functional alignment & liaise with team members including marketing, sales, medical and clinical to maximise the sales of your products
-To drive external educational programme on a national level for General/Specialist Practitioners and Health Care Professionals
-To be responsible for patient activation campaigns by developing, launching and analysing direct to customer awareness communication via Social Media, website and printed media; You will create and implement a Multichannel Customer Engagement journey
-To innovate the way, we engage by exploring new opportunities, defining related business case and launching pilots
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has the following assets :
-You hold a master’s in business or a similar field, preferably postgraduate in Management/marketing.
-You have proven experience in product management/marketing role in a highly a highly regulated and compliant environment (2-3 years) and can document excellent results. Ideally you have already worked in the pharmaceutical industry and with Health Care Professionals. Expertise in marketing, market analysis, brand analysis and budget management are considered assets.
-You are fluent in written and spoken French, Dutch & English
-You have skills in stakeholder management and the ability to build relationships, communicate and influence at multiple levels. You are a teamplayer, think outside the box and take initiatives. You are good at translating medical/scientific insights to business opportunities/implications and can quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
About the Department
You will join a growing team composed of a marketing & sales coordinator, a Product Manager insulins & digital health, a Product manager GLP-1 and the Marketing Director Diabetes you will report to. In addition to your affiliate responsibility, you will be part of the Diabetes, Obesity and Cardiology network in “North West Europe” Business Area.
