The area is one of two Product areas that are in charge of demand mgt. and prioritization towards our delivery domains and programs in BEC, securing that we are working on the right things at the right time and that we have a mature backlog.The Product Manager position for Data Platforms & Services offers a unique opportunity for joining a Product area where we over the coming years are looking into a bigger transformation of the platforms. It is also an area where the right person is given the opportunity to identify the products and set the direction for these in close collaboration with Development director, Product Owners and Customers. In BEC we are working towards being more Product centric in the way work to ensure more value to our customers with the Products we offer. As Product Manager in Data Platforms & Services you will take up a key role in this transformation and you will be leading this change. You will as Product Manager both be leading the Product portfolio within Data Platforms & Services and at the same time you will lead a team of 6 highly skilled Product Owners, who will help you succeeding every day.As Product Manager in Data Platforms & Services you will be working closely together with both internal BEC customers and external customers to set the right direction for your products and to be able to execute on the roadmap created. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Casper Korsholm Baadsgaard Hansen.Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Product Leadership – set the strategic direction for your portfolio of products that you are a Product Manager for and be curious on the market how are other.
• Ongoing prioritization, update and maturement of 5Q roadmap
• Lead and develop a team of Product Owners
• Facilitate and drive different governance groups
• Follow market trends and stay updated on how your products are performing compared to the market and build up a strong knowledge around your products.
• To succeed in the role, you need to work closely together with Development Director, Development Managers, Architects, Product Owners, other Product Managers and Customers
• As some of your employees are located in Poland, you are expected to travel to Poland when needed and at least 6 times pr. Year

To succeed you will have:

• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
• You find People Leadership motivating – you know how to show the way and perform balanced leadership meaning that you know when you must be firm and when to show empathy. You are good at motivating others, and you prefer to lead others by providing them intend.
• You have worked as a Product Owner og Product Manager before where you have demonstrated strong product leadership
• You have preferably previously experience within data working with or as data engineer, data analytics, data governance or data management
• Communication – you have excellent communication skills, and you balance your communication depending on who the receiver is
• You are proactive and you finish what you start
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

It’s nice-to-have:

• You have a long track record of working in the intersection between IT and business
• Working in areas where you both have had external customers and internal customers
