High-quality test results delivered in an efficient manner are a basic requirement of our clinical lab customers. There is, however, an increasing need to go beyond the test result alone and offer support in the clinical interpretation and patient care path optimisation.Job missionWe are offering a great opportunity for candidates who want to combine their expertise in the operational needs of clinical labs with the impact diagnostics have on clinical decision making and patient care paths.You will be able to further develop your marketing and strategic skills and have extensive interaction with external stakeholders and our commercial / medical teams.As a Product Manager, you will be the marketing expert for our portfolio of core lab immuno-assays and related clinical decision support tools, and this in different clinical fields such as cardiac, critical care, women’s health, oncology and neurology. Your key contribution will be to continuously adapt the commercial positioning of your portfolio based on changing market / customer needs and innovation. You will also actively identify and drive growth opportunities that bring value to labs, hospitals, clinicians, patients and other external stakeholders. You will intensively collaborate with the sales, medical and customer support teams and create a solid external network to ensure a deep understanding of the market in reality.Your impactYou will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Your function as a Product Manager is varied and exciting. Your main activities will involve (non-exhaustive):You proactively adapt the value proposition and commercial strategy for your portfolios based on the changing market / customer needs and the innovation in our offering, in order to strongly position Roche as a partner in clinical indications and patient care paths.You will lead or support disease area squads in which marketing, medical, market access and sales colleagues shape the strategic direction and roll out the action plans

You extensively support our sales team in their commercial opportunities, specifically for your own portfolio and also to strengthen our position as total lab solution provider. This includes: providing product training and commercial tools, extensive direct interaction with our customers using a consultative selling mindset, and valorising our solutions during pre-tender and tender activitiesYou ensure en excellent portfolio management, which includes operational follow-up, product updates and launches, logistical forecasting, management of potential issues and customer communicationsYou build a solid network of external stakeholders (KOLs) and internal stakeholders (local sales, marketing, medical, customer support, finance teams, and you are the linking role towards or global organisation and product managers in the other affiliates)You contribute to the marketing and business plan, monitor the business performance of your portfolio and build business cases for new solutionsYour profileYou hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, scientific or medical subject.
