As part of the Foreflight Dispatch team, you will be working with award-winning software products and highly skilled colleagues in beautiful surroundings on the bank of the Odense canal.On behalf of ForeFlight, we are looking for a Product Manager to join their Dispatch Business Aviation team. Foreflight develops specialized software for the international aviation industry and delivers critical solutions to pilots, airlines, military organizations and others in the industry. Foreflight is a part of BOEING Digital services and supports millions of customers worldwide.
Learn more on https://foreflight.com/products/dispatch/the roleYou will become part of the Dispatch Business Aviation leadership team that collaborates with customers in the business aviation industry. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for external stakeholder management with international customers, and internally you will collaborate with stakeholders/colleagues at ForeFlight, Jeppesen and Boeing besides your colleagues in software development. The development is fueled by inputs from customers, developers, technology trends and business, and focused on new features and functionality.
Since you will work closely with American colleagues, travel activity should be expected.Assignment & responsibilities

  • Collect and distill customer and market feedback into actionable product requirements
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to identify needs and trends
  • Identify business growth opportunities and develop compelling presentations for leadership
  • Lead product development with a focus on agile delivery, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Write detailed JIRA tickets to communicate customer problems to designers and engineers
  • Develop and execute multi-phase project plans with cross-functional teams
  • Conduct thorough market research to inform product decisions.
  • Facilitate collaboration by bringing the right people together for key tasks
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, support staff, and stakeholders to iteratively improve features
  • Prioritize ideas and feature requests against the roadmap and backlog
  • Keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure product and project success
  • Create documentation, feature demos, and usage guides for new products and features

requirementsIn order to succeed in this role, it is required that you have several years of experience as product owner, product manager or similar. You have great communication and stakeholder management skills as well as technical insight that enables you to understand the clients’ needs and inputs and translate them into technical requirements for the development team-and vice versa.
We imagine that you have a background in software development and/or product management of software solutions, and that you enjoy a role in the intersection between technology, business and stakeholder management. If you have experience from the aviation industry, it’s a huge plus.
You fit in well as a person if you are open-minded, collaborative, and structured.You have a relevant background for the position if you can tick off some of the below boxes;

  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS solutions and as a Product Manager/Owner in the software industry, preferably 3-4 years
  • Proven experience leading product development or features for highly technical products
  • Technical insight and understanding of complex software solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and articulate problems and perspectives
  • Analytical mindset to uncover underlying reasons behind customer requests and product needs
  • Exceptional project administration skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and managing development and • release plans
  • “Speak engineer” and are able to communicate effectively with engineers, translating customer needs into actionable solutions
  • Proficient in data-driven quantitative analysis for KPI/OKR monitoring and developing business proposals
  • Customer- and service-oriented, adept at troubleshooting issues and supporting internal staff with Enterprise features and products
  • Knowledge of EASA and FAA and aviation legislation in the EU and US is a plus as well as holding a pilot’s license
  • Experience in business aviation is a strong plus
