Product Development Manager (Crop Nutrition / Agronomy)
Location: Spain | Sector: Crop Nutrition / Biologicals

A globally active, innovation-led agricultural inputs company is seeking a Product Development professional to join its European technical team. This is a confidential search for a scientifically strong agronomist who wants to play a key role in bringing next-generation crop nutrition and biological solutions to market.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, field validation, and commercial product strategy, supporting the development and positioning of the company’s crop nutrition, bio-stimulant, bio-fertilizer, and crop protection technologies across international markets.

The Role

You will lead and coordinate laboratory and field trial programs to evaluate new and existing products, generating robust scientific data to support product positioning, recommendations, and market adoption. Working closely with research institutions, CROs, and internal R&D teams, you will help translate scientific insight into practical agronomic solutions for growers.

The role combines hands-on agronomy, product evaluation, and strategic technical support, with strong exposure to international product development pipelines.

Key Focus Areas

Design and manage laboratory and field trials for crop nutrition and biological products

Develop technical positioning and agronomic recommendations across key crops
*

Analyze soil, plant, and harvest data to evaluate product performance
*

Generate technical documentation, data sheets, and scientific reports
*

Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and CRO partners
*

Provide technical input to marketing and product management teams
*

Deliver technical training and agronomic insights to commercial teams
*

Monitor market trends and emerging crop nutrition needs

Candidate Profile

MSc / PhD in Soil Science, Agronomy, or Crop Nutrition (or BSc with strong industry experience)
*

Approximately 5-10 years of experience within crop nutrition, fertilizers, or biological inputs
*

Strong experience with field trials, agronomic research, and product evaluation
*

Ability to translate technical data into clear product positioning
*

Strong communication skills in English
*

Self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment
