Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.Come and join us to create the future together!The Product Experience & SmartTech function is accountable for the design, development, deployment and operations of commercial propositions, technologies, and platforms like OneNumber, Central Connectivity Activation Platform (CCAP), Data Analytics, TOBi, and SIM.The purpose of this role is to define and govern the architecture strategy and roadmap for all aspects of Product Experience & SmartTech capabilities and platforms in close collaboration with other architects and the agile delivery teams. The architect will design innovative solutions that meet the market and global business requirements whilst ensuring compliance with the Global Architecture standards and design principles, and will have the following responsibilities:

• Interpret business challenges and technical issues, communicating solutions that align with needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate a balanced mix of technical and business skills.
• Collaborate closely with Technical and Commercial Product Owners, Architects, and Vodafone Enablers to develop technology strategies and high-level designs.
• Simplify complex concepts for broader audience understanding.
• Lead the design and delivery of products and services, including E2E design, infrastructure architecture, security, data models, APIs, and system integration.
• Provide technical expertise in technology selection and make-or-buy decisions in line with Technology standards.

What you bring

• Experience in Product or solutions architecture

Related qualification and proven experience in mobile technology, digital products or ITExperience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Deep knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures (REST/SOAP)Knowledge of cross platform architecture, technology and platforms (e.g. Web /Android / iOS / etc.)Experienced in design and development of highly scalable, robust, distributed systemsNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
