Your responsibilities will involve tracking and evaluating the performance of our products across three key categories: Frames, Ophthalmic Lenses, and Contact Lenses. Additionally, you’ll provide invaluable support to our Product team in comprehending the nuanced regional requirements, spanning both global and local contexts. Your typical workday will revolve around the following tasks:

  • Analyzing data, discerning trends, and scrutinizing performance metrics
  • Assessing product performance and forecasting outcomes
  • Generating comprehensive reports and delivering insightful presentations based on your findings
  • Vigilantly monitoring the performance of our products to ensure ongoing optimization
  • Collaborating closely with both Global and local teams to foster cross-functional synergy
  • Participating in various product-related activities and contributing your expertise to enhance overall product knowledge.

What are we looking for?We’re seeking a colleague who enjoys being nerdy around data analysis and data visualisation. We need someone who can see performance patterns across categories and get a thrill out of optimizing status-quo. Having a keen eye for detail while maintaining a bigger-picture perspective would be best. To fulfil this role at Specsavers, you should align with the following requirements:

  • Experience from working with data analysis and data visualization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Excel Superuser and experience with Power BI

You’ll report to our Product Performance & Supply Manager in Northern Europe. To thrive in this position, you’ll need to undertake occasional travel.Your developmentWithin 3 months, you will:

  • Be onboarded and meet relevant stakeholders and peers
  • Gain understanding of Product function for Northern Europe and the shared goals for the function
  • Support/work on portfolio reporting.

Within 6-12 months, you are:

  • Running the portfolio reporting on specific categories
  • The wizard of details on product specifics within those categories
  • In charge of report maintenance and development within the categories
  • Delivering regular insights on product performance and trends in the markets.
