Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As Procurement Plant Focal you will directly report to the Procurement Leader, supporting him/her in the execution of Sourcing critical purchases, ensuring the timely deliveries of goods to the relevant Plant and monitoring Suppliers delivery performances and KPI. Covering this role you will be the liaison among Procurement and Plant.
In this role you will require and guarantee the execution of improvement plans aimed to recover delivery delays. You will also drive the continuous improvement and partner with the Digital team to ensure lean approach and Suppliers’ excellence. As Procurement Plant Focal, you will partner with Plant Leader, the Material Leader, the Fulfilment Leader and the Procurement team to enable effective resolution of delivery issues and schedules, and pursue and drive continues improvement to ensure KPI improvements and excellence.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAttends to the Sourcing MOR meetings with the Plants and Sourcing and Financial QMI.Attends to the WOR meetingsAttend plant assy board meetingsCooperate with Senior Material management team and Material planning to ensure proper scheduling to the SuppliersEstablish an operational rhythm with the Senior Material management team, Material planning and FulfillmentThrough KPI analysis drives actions and strategy for improvement and stabilizationDrives Critical Material Review (“Customer Impact”) with the PlantsEnsure the application of the correct escalation process.Escalate to Commodity Leaders severe deliveries delay and any commercial matter impacting supplier outputEnsure, for critical material, GW and action plan creation and ManagementEnable resolution of the delivery issues for critical materialCollaborate to the problem solving of Suppliers issuesQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Technical field from an accredited university or collegeSolid experience in Procurement, Fulfillment or Planning roles

Extensive knowledge of the sourcing fieldStrong problem solving abilityKnowledge of lean tools: at point problem solving, PSR, action plans, 5whys, fishbone diagram, pareto analysis…etcFluency in Italian and English languageWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsAttitude to work in a cross-functional team environmentStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Black Belt certification and Lean experience are highly appreciatedDemonstrated ability to lead programs and projects, ability to document, plan, market, and execute programsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
