Person on this position will formulate and implement strategic distribution management plans that drive business growth and align with organizational goals. If you have experience on similar role this is opportunity for you!What will you be doing?
- Develop and execute the distribution management and concepts strategy, aligning with business objectives and growth plans.
- Analyze and optimize the distributor and producer base, potentially bundling and streamlining products with fewer partners.
- Initiate and control negotiations with distributors and producers, ensuring favorable terms and legally binding agreements.
- Explore the distributor and producer base’s innovation capabilities through structured development processes.
- Analyze market developments, forecast strategic product prices, and advise on optimizing payment terms and working capital requirements.
- Manage complex RFQs and allocate products.
- Implement site and supply concepts through effective project management.
- Identify opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and enhance sustainability across the value chain, distribution network and supply chain.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Management or Procurement, ideally combined with chemical or engineering background
- PhD in Chemistry would be an asset
- Experience in Procurement of Raw Materials (Chemicals) and product development
- Highly developed negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving approach
- Project management skills
- Willingness to challenge status quo
- Language Skills:
- English C1 required
- Nice to have: German B2 level required
