And our way of working smarter.Job contentTo strengthen the Procurement Consumer Market team, we are looking for a new, motivated and dynamic colleague to develop strong partnerships with our strategic suppliers in order to help our internal customers achieve Proximus’ commercial ambitions.The Consumer Market procurement manager leads the selection of suppliers, the definition of contracts, and monitors the quality of deliverables and budgets for the categories in their portfolio. The domains In Home, Pickx, platforms, etc. are of great strategic importance and the goal is to work closely with suppliers to achieve Proximus’ ambitions. In a cross-functional team and in close collaboration with internal customers, they are the main point of contact with suppliers for formal moments but also throughout the duration of the contract to ensure the quality of the relationship, the achievement of objectives and adherence to budget limits. They are also the first point of escalation if necessary.Tasks & responsibilities * You develop and implement a purchasing strategy (category plan) for your categories in collaboration with internal clients. To achieve this, you consider the Proximus Group’s strategy, your market knowledge, as well as operational, technical, and legal requirements.

• You negotiate commercial and compliancy elements (risk management, security schedule, SCOC, sustainability, privacy) for the contracts in your portfolio.
• You manage complex purchasing files from A to Z, in close collaboration with business units and cross-functional teams. Your goal is to create value for Proximus, contribute to the company’s growth objectives, and manage risks.
• You handle the purchasing procedure and negotiate with suppliers while ensuring Proximus’ compliance rules are respected.
• You manage the relationship with your key suppliers (Supplier Relationship Management) and monitor their performance, always aiming to create value for Proximus.
• You challenge internal clients (demand management) to align needs with requests to suppliers.
• You maintain constructive relationships with the various purchasing teams, business lines, technical services, and suppliers.
• You understand and use agile methodology for teams and guide your team to achieve the expected results in a positive atmosphere.

Your ProfileYour profile * You have a university degree and can demonstrate a solid knowledge and experience in the field.

• You are trilingual (French, Dutch, English).
• You have experience leading project teams. You are a true team player.
• You can develop strategies, implementing them, and bringing them to fruition with the internal client.
• You have analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You are a good communicator, a good negotiator, and results oriented.
• You can negotiate contracts and take into account multiple dimensions. This requires a good ability to convey difficult messages and a strong resistance to stress.
• You are a key player in risk management and handling confidential information. You hold ethics in high regard.
