Are you an experienced Procurement Manager, with strong indirects experience? Are you comfortable in a stand alone role with responsibility for end to end procurement? How would you like to work for a caring organisation, that contribute to the community?

A Staffordshire based organisation are recruiting a Procurement Manager to focus on their indirects categories. This is a newly created role, working in a greenfield environment. The role is a hybrid role and will be a mix of office and home working. You will be responsible for collating and analysing spend data, working with stakeholders to set procurement strategy and rolling this out. You will review procurement expenditure and ensure that contracts and suppliers are fit for purpose.

Reporting into the CFO, you will develop sourcing strategies, develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate with suppliers and approve the ordering of goods and services. You will track and create KPIs, analyse data and perform risk management for contracts and agreements.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Experience within an indirect procurement role
• Knowledge of sourcing and negotiating with suppliers
• Experience of analysing data
• Strong leadership skills
• A strong track record of delivering savings

In return, you will receive a salary of circa £50,000 to £60,000 dependent upon experience
