In this semiconductor fab engineer role within Texas Instruments’ worldwide manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for engineering process optimization efforts to achieve fab cycle time goals. You will interact with various modules, in addition to yield, product and integration teams, to resolve issues that limit yield performance and output.
In this position you will be exposed to significant development and transfer projects that include the start-up, automation and engineering of semiconductor processes on production equipment. As a process engineer you will focus on LPCVD (Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition) processes while being part of TI’s worldwide TMG (“Technology & Manufacturing Group”) and worldwide process community, where you can broaden your experiences and grow your expertise.
The responsibilities of a process & manufacturing engineer in this role include:

Identify potential for quality improvements, cost savings and throughput optimization within a 24/7 manufacturing environment

Project and self management that results in the timely execution of actions to implement these improvements

Analyze, evaluate and present test data to support process changes and tool issues

Determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications to guarantee appropriate process control

Provide supervision and trainings to technicians and manufacturing specialists and create action plans
-
Generate progress reports on tools, processes and goals on site and worldwide level
-
Manage priorities regarding daily business operations and engineering projects

Support engineering teams in addressing fab projects as well as serving in worldwide multidisciplinary teams

Plan across various groups and build collaborative relationships

Work with equipment vendors to sustain and enhance equipment performance from both a process and tool standpoint
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
-
Master degree or similar education level in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Microelectronics, Microsystems technology or similar fields

Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English: B2
-
Willingness to work inside a cleanroom for some extent
Preferred qualifications:
-
Hands-on experience in a cleanroom/semiconductor environment

Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and especially LPCVD processes

Strong presentations and time management skills

Experience with worldwide collaboration teams
