As our new process engineer, you will join one of our 3 teams of highly skilled engineers and technicians. We form the bridge between concept development and full-scale production at our international sites, by developing and specifying processes that are scalable and designed for manufacturing.Get a flexible and dynamic workday
In a position where few days are the same, you will work on cross-functional development projects and collaborate closely with designers, project managers, mechanical engineers and other specialists and skilled workers in the project teams, to make all aspects come together.“You’ll be part of a dynamic environment and be using your creativity and knowledge to ensure the right process solutions in development projects.” – Brigitta Predojevic & Bertil Høyer-Hansen, Team Managers, CC and Bowel Care team.More specifically, you will:

  • Innovate, develop and mature new process technologies in collaboration with colleagues in R&D
  • Establish/maintain pilot scale manufacturing capabilities, produce products for test purposes and take part in production start-up in collaboration with technicians and machine operators
  • Document process stability and scalability, and follow up on results and create action plans
  • Ensure that we focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) based on a data-driven approach
  • Decide on the optimal process parameters based on statistical treatment of data
  • Incorporate sustainability and modularity into our new products during development.
  • Collaborate with our stakeholders e.g. internal Commissioning department on new production equipment/machines.
  • Help transfer knowledge of processes and equipment to our international volume sites
  • Knowledge regarding laser marking and cutting processes will be a bonus but not a requirement

Experienced engineer with a solid understanding of production environmentsYour communication skills enable you to collaborate efficiently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Moreover, you are a strong team player who enjoys exchanging ideas and knowledge with your colleagues to come up with the best solutions.Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a relevant degree (Bachelor or Master) in e.g. mechanical, machine or production engineering
  • Experience with process development or developing production equipment
  • Are familiar with statistical process optimization and tools (Six Sigma e.g., Sas jmp)
  • Solid written and spoken skills in English as well as the ability to communicate with peers across the organization. Danish will be an advantage but not required
  • Able to travel, primarily to our volume sites in Hungary, Coats Rica or Portugal. Travel will be in periods.
