Job Opportunity: Private Label (PL) Manager – European Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Label Manager to join our client, a leading multinational food manufacturing group with operations across Europe. This is a pivotal role focused on driving private label sales and developing strategic partnerships with major retailers and foodservice chains.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full commercial responsibility for private label sales across Europe, managing relationships with key retailers and food chains.
Propose innovative product ranges, negotiate terms, and finalise agreements on pricing and conditions.
Collaborate with the financial team to evaluate profitability and ensure the commercial viability of operations.
Build high-margin partnerships, focusing on industrial collaborations and the QSR sector.
Work closely with the NPD Manager to drive rapid product innovation, optimise packaging, and create market-leading solutions aligned with trends and customer needs.

About You:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in private label management within a major food company, preferably in the dairy or non-dairy sector.
Internationally minded, with the ability to thrive in a medium-sized, fast-paced business environment.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and relationship management skills.
Flexible on location, though proximity to Italy, is preferred.
