Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and experienced freelance Privacy Officer to join. As a Privacy Officer, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complex landscape of privacy regulations and ensure compliance with data protection laws. You will be responsible for executing privacy assessments, providing expert advice on privacy matters, and utilizing privacy tools to safeguard our clients’ sensitive information. his is a temporary assignment for at least 3 months, with possible extension.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), and IT Solution Assessments. Ensure that all assessments are thorough and align with the latest legal and regulatory standards.
• Leverage your experience in operational privacy roles (such as Privacy Officer, Privacy Analyst, etc.) to provide practical and actionable advice to clients, helping them implement effective privacy practices.
• Utilize your expertise in OneTrust privacy tools to support clients in managing their privacy programs. This includes configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the use of these tools for privacy management.
• Apply your knowledge of risk management, compliance, and audit processes to assess and mitigate privacy-related risks within client organizations.
• Leverage your understanding of various business processes (such as finance, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, manufacturing) to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business.
• Demonstrate strong self-starting abilities, with the capacity to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards in your deliverables.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex privacy issues clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in privacy roles, including privacy assessments, operational roles, and experience with privacy tooling.
• Certifications such as CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) are highly desirable.
• Experience in risk management, compliance, and/or audit is considered a significant advantage.
• A well-developed understanding of various business processes, particularly in industries such as finance, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, and manufacturing.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
