Title: Principal Product Marketing Engineer

My client is a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing with a focus on analog, digital and software technologies and in the markets of industrial automation, consumer electronics, automotive and medical. With a focus on their power management technology (Bucks, Boosts, Buck-Boosts and Linear Regulators), I am looking for a Principal Product Marketing Engineer to join the team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of my client’s LDO and Buck-Boost product portfolios, driving growth and market leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (applications engineers, product definition, development) and external stakeholders (sales, field personnel, customers) to ensure product success throughout its lifecycle.

The Role:
– Become the Product Champion: You’ll assume full responsibility for the LDO and Buck-Boost portfolios, developing strategic roadmaps, managing product lifecycles, and spearheading new product initiatives.
– Market Maven: Cultivate strong relationships with global sales and field application engineering (FAE) teams. Act as the primary interface with customers, keeping them informed on product roadmaps, pipelines, and portfolio developments.
– Driving Demand Generation: Develop winning business cases for new products and secure leadership buy-in for successful launches. Collaborate with the product definition team to translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements.
– Empowering the Team: Provide ongoing support to sales, FAE, and marketing teams, enabling them to generate new business opportunities and achieve design-in wins. You’ll also be responsible for setting product pricing strategies.
– Market Intelligence & Communication: Contribute to market analyses, value proposition assessments, and competitor evaluations. Develop compelling go-to-market materials in support of marketing campaigns, programs, and social media initiatives.

Your Profile:
– A Strategic Powerhouse: You possess a blend of strong self-motivation and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to translate market needs into actionable product plans.
– Seasoned Marketer: 5+ years of combined engineering and marketing experience demonstrate your ability to navigate complex technical concepts and translate them for diverse audiences. Experience working with customers and colleagues in international environments is a plus.
– Power Play (Bonus): Prior experience with power semiconductor products will give you a significant edge.
– Communication Virtuoso: Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills are essential for success.
– Technically Adept: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is a must. A Master’s in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or an MBA is a plus.
– Global Player: Willingness to travel up to 25%, including some international travel, is required.
