The RDT support the vision to become a Best-in-Class Global Operation.
As a Principal Logistics Analyst (Black Belt) within the RDT you will be part of the OPEX & PMO team focusing on operational excellence. As a Principal Logistics Analyst/Black Belt you are a recognized expert who can work autonomous with limited oversight of a manager. You coach, review and delegate work to lower tier levels.The Principal Logistics Analyst (Black Belt) represents the organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making. You encourage the need for transformation and change and manage the delivery of new capabilities and provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within their job area. You feel comfortable in any tier level in the organization. You will interact closely with your peers within the Deliver EMEA community and Global organization.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Deploy the Medtronic Performance System within the EMEA deliver organization.
- Develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Define, design and implement continuous improvement programs and ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization.
- Define improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
- Analyze improvement programs and potential results.
- Facilitate and coach improvement teams.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success.
- Deliver operational excellence training up to the level of Green Belt.
- Facilitate strategy workshops and guidance on strategy deployment.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / supply chain / logistics
- Fluent in Dutch and English language in word and writing
- Certified as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
10 years’ experience in Logistics * 5 years’ experience in working with process improvement
- Direct, manage and motivate improvement teams.
- Problem solving and leadership skills.
- Process thinking.
