About the team:

Our team, under T&I board area, creates the latest products/services in the SAP BTP Platform. We try to use the latest Cloud technology trends, working methods and mindset. We aim to bring the next level of technology innovation to our customers.

We are a very experienced team, we always help each other, love to bring in new people to share with us the passion of developing and creating quality software.

The project:

You will be joining our team and help build one of BTP’s most critical services, in the area of security and compliance. Our service adopts a microservice architecture and has the requirements of a major cloud service/application: high availability (-99%), performance (Gigabytes of processed data per day), scalability and security. It is also deployed all around the world in AWS, GCP and Azure.

What you’ll do:

-Work with the developers in your team to define and implement the best possible architecture for any given problem statement. Optimal, secure, scalable performance and low maintenance cost are key attributes.

-Coach and mentor the team with your technical expertise and love for technology.

-Ensure high code quality by using the best coding & testing practices (e.g. Test-Driven development) and performing code reviews.

-Work closely with the team on solutioning, rapid prototyping, assessing technical feasibility along with strong stakeholder alignment.

-Guide building and maintaining a complex BTP Cloud Service that is deployed in all major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

-Learn new technologies, help the team adopt state of the art technologies and innovate.

-Provide inputs and knowledge on the best way forward to build the service.

-Be part of the team: party up with a highly skilled engineer team and work/learn with some of the best engineers in the software industry.

-Be part of product development at SAP, where we build and deploy the next generation of SAP products.

What you’ll bring:

-You are already a hands-on expert on Java/TypeScript/Node.JS/Golang.

-You have a strong understanding and experience with standard and cloud native design patterns.

-You come with a deep hands-on expertise on domain-driven design and microservice architecture.

-You have lived the DevOps principles and have scaled up the architecture of the involved topics.

-You are well-versed or able to scale up to the prevalent standards and guidelines.

-You have at least 10 years or more in system architecture, design patterns, and software development.

-You proven experience in building partnerships and strong collaborations across organizations to drive shared success.

-You have a strong interpersonal and communication skill with extensive experience in modelling and documenting technical artifacts.

-You have deep Git knowledge

-You have Cloud development experience

-You have Containerization and Orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker)

-You have BTP Knowledge

-Architecture related certification is beneficial.

-Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory
