About the role:

This role will help to coordinate the internal control environment for the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role will partner between auditors (internal/external), service delivery, and other business stakeholders to independently solve complex and diverse problems across GBS. This role will independently lead cross-functional projects such as new cycle/control implementation and provide recommendations for improvement in the existing environment. This will occur by regularly leading discussions, presenting information and explaining impacts of decisions. This role will be part of the quality, risk and controls team, and expected to support other team members through coaching, guidance and feedback while reporting to the global process steward.

The preferred candidate is an individual who is a leader, logical, organized, detail oriented, person with analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are paramount while also being a self-starter, capable of handling multiple projects, and works with a continuous improvement mindset.

Your Responsibilities will include:

-Learn GBS business process areas including order to cash, payroll, source to pay, robotic process automation, account to report, fixed assets and related IT Systems to evaluate the risk and control environment of the processes within
-Lead execution on risk and control related topics including the SOX environment to ensure a successful internal control environment
-Develop, track, organize and lead communication on risk and control-related topics including adherence to deadlines, scorecards, policy updates, process changes, audit status, and other risk and control related activities
-Consult on appropriate remediation activities and strategies when needed
-Partner with Global BSC resources as a liaison to the GBS Control Environment
-Prepare and deliver training materials
-Develop and assess adequacy of internal control environment for current and new processes including efficiency/effectiveness of current or new controls, IT control operation, implementation of new systems, compliance with company policies and procedures, adherence to external rules and regulations, and the underlying business process
-Ability to questions and improve the quality, risk and control environment every year
 

What are we looking for in you?

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, accounting information system, information technology or related field
-Min. 5 years of experience in controls, risk management and auditing
-Fluent level of English language is mandatory
-Self-directed and able to work without supervision
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Practical experience of Microsoft suites (O365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and ability to learn other systems as needed
-Creative, innovative and great business partnering skills
-Works with integrity, accuracy, and can establish credibility
-Exceptional research, planning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
-Excellent presentation, collaboration,
-Detail oriented and results focused
