The position
As a Principal Clinical Pharmacology Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the early clinical pharmacology strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:

-Designing First Human Dose (FHD) and other early development trials across Novo Nordisk portfolio.
-Be scientifically responsible for design and execution of trials, result interpretation and communication.
-Drive and coordinate activities in the Clinical Pharmacology Project Team including dose setting.
-Participate and coordinate trial safety groups.
-Provide scientific input and collaborate closely with internal and external partners involved in managing our clinical trials.
-Representing Clinical Pharmacology and Global Translation in the Global Project Teams.
-Represent Clinical Pharmacology in Translational Teams.
-Interact with Health Authorities and KOLs.
-As a senior member of the team, you will also play a key supporting role in the development of an area, sharing knowledge and increasing innovation in early development at Novo Nordisk.
 
Qualifications
You hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences and/or MD combined with experience in drug development and extensive knowledge within Clinical Pharmacology.

-Strong scientific mindset combined with great experience in planning and conducting clinical pharmacology trials.
-Great understanding of clinical dosing aspects including first human dose setting and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics.
-Experience in leading cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-performing colleagues.
-Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the department
Early Clinical Pharmacology is an area in Research and Early Development. As an integrated part of Global Translation, we are scientifically and operationally responsible for designing, planning and executing of first-in-human and other early clinical pharmacology trials in new and exciting areas across Novo Nordisk portfolio.
The Early Clinical Pharmacology area consists of Clinical Pharmacology Specialists working closely together with a team of engaged and highly skilled Trial Managers, and Clinical Trial Administrators in a flexible, and cross-functional setting. We collaborate and share knowledge to benefit each other and ultimately the patients.
