We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Oxford. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting and inspiring students with special educational needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ lives, working closely with a supportive team of educators and specialists.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, individualized lessons tailored to the needs of students with diverse learning challenges, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other SEN profiles.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, carers, and other professionals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and social-emotional growth.
• Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Monitor and report on students’ progress, adapting approaches as necessary to ensure each student achieves their full potential.
• Collaborate with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEN best practices, actively participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in SEN preferred.
• Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally within a school setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN frameworks, including EHCPs and IEPs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching, with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
