- Previous experience in interpreting data obtained from omics tools (transcriptomics, metagenomics, metabolomics). Use of Python, R or MATLAB would be advantageous.
- Previous research on functional compounds with possible application in functional foods or nutraceuticals, especially in the field of probiotics /prebiotics and gut microbiota.
- Experience in cellular models
- Capacity to work with animal models (C.elegans, mice,…)
- Capable of managing research projects, including budgets.
