As a Power Systems & Grid Integration Engineer specializing in Power Plant Controllers (PPC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of advanced control systems within the power grid.Your responsibilities:
- Integrate renewable energy sources (solar/wind), energy storage systems, and other technologies into the grid infrastructure.
- Configure and Calibrate PPC systems to meet specific plant and grid needs.
- Monitor PPC system Performance for optimal efficiency.
- Perform technical analyses, simulations, and modeling to evaluate the impact of new technologies and integration methods on the grid.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to grid integration and performance.
- Manage and execute system upgrades with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Follow industry regulations and safety standards for all PPC operations, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance system performance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to integration processes, technical specifications, and project outcomes.
- Experience in power systems simulation, Matlab Simulink and if possible some experience using PSCAD, PowerFactory or PSSE.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn, embrace challenges, and grow with us.What you bring:A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Energy, or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering is a bonus but not essential.Have a basic understanding or interest in:
- PHP and HTML
- Electric Power Systems and Power Electronics (particularly in Solar/Wind technologies), grid dynamics, codes, standards, and interconnection requirements.
- Renewable Energy Systems and the evolving energy market.
- Control systems, automation, and grid technologies.
- Linux and scripting languages.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
