Are you ready to lead the charge in power distribution innovation?
We are looking for a dynamic Power Distribution Global R&D Manager to join our team in Milan HQ.
In this pivotal global role, you’ll collaborate with HQ and regional R&D, Operations, and Commercial leaders to drive technology cross-fertilization and support inter-company transfer projects.
You’ll partner with industry leaders to deliver projects aligned with our Power Grids 2024-2028 growth plan, facilitate knowledge transfer to regional teams, and spearhead our sustainability, innovation, and NPI roadmap.
You will have the chance to:
- Innovate and Lead: Work on groundbreaking innovation and sustainability projects.
- Collaborate Globally: Gain insights into different cultures, people, and functional dynamics through collaboration with regional teams.
- Drive Impact: Translate regional business needs into actionable tasks, prioritize projects, and ensure timely deliverables.
- Build Credibility: Establish strong technical credibility and leadership among regional teams.
Who are we looking for?
- Degree in Electrical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in materials product development and application engineering. Experience in the cable industry is a significant plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and present them clearly.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a keen understanding of people dynamics and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel to plants and customer locations, both locally and internationally (10-15%).
