• Working within our technology delivery team, you’ll partner with our Product Owner(s) to design and engineer appealing, intuitive and insightful data products for users of the Client Insight Unit toolsets
• Interact directly with business users to identify their needs. Actively participate in business process design and changes, gather business requirements, and translate those requirements into functional solutions.
• Deliver change to our first class data and analytics platform to support Sales planning and decision making, enabling strategic deliverables to be met
• Support other team members, to encourage innovation, ensuring appropriate design principles are embraced, and the similarly appropriate engineering and visualisation practices and methodologies are adopted
• Partner with our Product Owner(s) to ensure that Epics, Features and Stories to be delivered by the team are suitably well defined and structured
• Develop a deep understanding of the business processes and teams to support continued value delivery
• Participate enthusiastically and effectively in Agile events
• Inspire creativity amongst the team to bring innovative solutions to problems

What UST expects from you?

• Strong Data visualisation experience preferably in a large enterprise environment
• Extensive experience of data visualization and modelling in PowerBI, utilising a range of in-built and custom capabilities
• An understanding of data engineering and common data transformation methodologies
• Experience low code app development in PowerPlatform (PowerApps / PowerAutomate)
• Testing experience, knowing how to test data pipelines and transformations, with a shift-left mentality
• Strong SQL skills, with experience optimizing queries and reporting views for data products
• Able to work in a modern software engineering environment using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI/CD
• Knowledge and experience of best practices for deployment of apps and dashboards
• Knowledge and experience working with an emphasis on security and access provisioning
• Able to deal credibly with business and technical users at all levels of the organisation
• Experience of working with global colleagues and stakeholders and sensitivity to cultural differences, time zones etc.

Desired Skills

• Experience collaborating with team members within a highly performant development team
• Experience integrating data from different systems would be beneficial
• Data modelling beneficial with appreciation of data warehouse techniques
• Software engineering experience using proven patterns and practices
• Experience of a range of data visualization tools (Tableau / PowerBI)
• Experience of data virtualisation, warehouse tools (Denodo / Snowflake)
• Knowledge and experience of using business analysis techniques and methodologies
• Experience working in Financial Services, preferably Asset Management
