To this end your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop a novel OMIC method based on proximity ligation techniques allowing the labeling of interacting protein networks in a phytopathogenic filamentous fungus.
  • Design and characterize corresponding strains of phytopathogenic filamentous fungus for the project.
  • Establish proof of concept to build a Proxisomic platform and feed a multi-modal ML framework integrating all static and dynamic information layers to predict novel protein-protein interactions with optimized disease relevance.
  • Actively interacts with data scientist, biochemists and molecular biologists in an international and interdisciplinary Life Science project across Bayer divisions (CropScience and Pharma), including our arm length companies, Vividion and Targenomix.
