- Execute and oversee research activities in alignment with KU Leuven’s objectives and project-specific work plans within designated research initiatives.
- Engage actively within the research group, contributing to regular meetings, group activities, and shared responsibilities, including training sessions and the development of research equipment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to PhD and MSc students working on projects related to your research focus.
- Offer limited support to MSc-level educational activities.

- A one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.
- Primary affiliation with the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, with collaborative opportunities in the Departments of Materials and Civil Engineering on KU Leuven’s Arenberg campus.
