Offer DescriptionOne postdoctoral position is available at the Immunity and Small Molecules lab at the Centre for research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CiMUS) of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), in the area of autoantigen discovery in autoimmunity. Successful candidates will work in the project “Examining the role of self-metabolites as autoantigens in Type 1 Diabetes (Self-MAIT1D)”. The position is fully funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) until 2028.Candidates must have obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology or related fields, with a strong background in T cells, flow cytometry and cell sorting, T cell receptors, primary cell culture, and experience or an interest to learn on MAIT cells and autoimmunity, sharing our passion to disentangle autoantigen specificities in Type 1 Diabetes.
