Offer DescriptionVHIR offers one position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Infectious Disease Department/HIV lab. The candidate will work on different approaches related to harnessing the immune response to fight HIV infection.Main responsibilities and duties:
- Designing, planning, and executing experiments of research projects
- Analyzing and interpreting experimental data
- Writing and submitting research papers to peer-reviewed journals
- Presenting research findings at conferences
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities

- Doctoral Degree in Biosciences
- English is required
Experience and knowledge:Required:
- At least 3 years’ experience in animal work, molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.
- Experience in the Virology field
- Experience with Flowjo and/or OMIQ software
- Ability to work independently Desired:
- Experience in working with the virology and immunology of HIV, and related laboratory techniques
- Experience in working in a BSL3 laboratory
