Offer DescriptionJob positionWe are looking for a highly motivated and talented young postdoc to join our team at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain, beginning December 2024. We offer a contract funded by the Alzheimer’s Association, to study the role of PV interneurons in sex-dependent vulnerability to Alzheimer’s disease, in the labs of Arnaldo Parra-Damas and Carlos Saura.Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)

• At least one article as first author.

• Must hold an EU-recognized accreditation for conducting research with mice.

• Experience in molecular biology techniques, cloning, stereotactic injections and behavioral studies.

• Experience with breeding and maintenance of transgenic mouse colonies.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

• Experience in neuronal cell culture and neurodegenerative diseases will be valued.
